EGM Approves Disposal of Cycles Division

Reece PLC 8 May 2000 REECE PLC ('the Company') APPROVAL OF THE DISPOSAL OF THE CYCLES DIVISION The Company is pleased to announce that the resolution to approve the disposal of the Cycles Division of its wholly owned subsidiary, Service (Engineers) PLC, was passed at the Extraordinary General Meeting of the Company held on Friday 5 May 2000. As detailed in the Circular to shareholders relating to the above transaction, on completion of the sale, which also occurred on Friday 5 May 2000, Mike Norris stood down as Managing Director of the Company.
