This evaluation\naims to better understand the potential of these areas.\n \n \n ReconAfrica's exploration teams have\nselected the first two drill locations and have initiated the\nnecessary preparations for well site setup and procurement for\ndrilling operations. The company has also received an Environmental\nClearance Certificate from the Environmental Commissioner of the\nMinistry of Environment, Forestry, and Tourism. This certificate\ncovers Petroleum Exploration Licenses for the drilling of an\nadditional 12 exploration and appraisal wells.\n \n \n The company was also granted approval for\nthe Second Renewal Exploration Period by the Ministry of Mines and\nEnergy. This period covers operations from January 30, 2024, to\nJanuary 29, 2026.\n \n \n Reinsborough also shared the company has\nsuccessfully closed the sale of its Mexico operations.
