("RS" or the "Company") (RS - TSX), a technology innovator and manufacturer of advanced\n composite products for infrastructure markets, today, further to its\n news release dated December 23, 2010, provided the following\n operational update.\n\n\nStatus of Working Capital\n\n\nAs a result of funds received from sales of RStandard® poles out of existing inventory and ongoing cash management, RS\n anticipates that it has sufficient working capital to continue as a\n going concern until the middle of February 2011. Management of RS is\n attempting to secure funds for RS's working capital needs and continues\n to pursue cost reduction strategies in order to continue operations. In\n the event that RS is unable to secure additional funds for its working\n capital needs, it will be unable to continue as a going concern beyond\n the middle of February 2011.\n\n\nSearch for Investors and Strategic Partners\n\n\nRS continues to work with its advisor, Macquarie Capital Markets Canada\n Ltd., to identify investors and strategic partners for RS to provide\n the Company with both short and long term solutions for its working\n capital needs.
