[{"type":"text","content":"\n \n \n \n RNS Number : 6500N\n Reabold Resources PLC\n 01 October 2021\n \n \n \n \n 01 October 2021\n \n \n Reabold Resources plc \n \n \n (\"Reabold\" or the \"Company\") \n \n \n West Newton A Site Planning Decision\n \n \n \n \n \n Reabold, the investor in upstream oil and gas projects, notes the following in relation to the planning application for expansion of the West Newton A site, operated by Rathlin Energy (UK) Limited (\"Rathlin\").\n \n \n \n \n \n Rathlin's planning application for the West Newton A well site expansion was refused by a narrow margin by The East Riding of Yorkshire Council Planning Committee, despite it being recommended for approval by The East Riding of Yorkshire Council's own planning officers. Rathlin is awaiting the formal decision notice but based on their current understanding of the reasons for refusal are confident they have a strong basis for a successful appeal. \n \n \n \n \n \n In the meantime, testing at the A-2 well continues and initial results are expected in the coming weeks. \n \n \n \n \n \n The information contained within this announcement is deemed by the Company to constitute inside information as stipulated under the Market Abuse Regulations (EU) No. 596/2014.
