(\"Rathdowney\"\n or the \"Company\") (TSXV: RTH) is pleased to announce that Robert Konski\n has been appointed President and CEO, and as a Director of the Company.\n\n\nWith a career spanning over 25 years, Mr. Konski has experience as an\n executive and as a strategic advisor to management of public and\n private companies and governments in Poland and North America.  He has\n overseen energy and infrastructure projects as well as diverse\n financial services, including restructuring activities.  His\n educational background includes degrees in International Relations\n (B.A.-Tufts University) and Public Administration (M.P.A.-JFK School of\n Government at Harvard University).\n\n\nMr. Konski is based in Poland.  He joined Rathdowney in mid-2012 as\n Director of Government Affairs, and in early 2014, became President of\n Company's wholly-owned subsidiary, Rathdowney Polska (see Rathdowney's\n January 14, 2014 news release for additional details).\n\n\nIn his new role, Mr. Konski will be responsible for managing all aspects\n of the Company's affairs, including corporate strategy, financial and\n business management, asset development, stakeholder relationships and\n day-to-day operations.  Mr. Konski's immediate focus will be directed\n toward Rathdowney's flagship Olza Zinc-Lead-Silver Project, leading the\n Poland-based team to advance project planning and permitting.\n\n\n\"We are very fortunate to have someone of Robert's calibre, knowledge\n and experience to lead Rathdowney,\" said Rathdowney Chairman David\n Copeland. \"Robert's background in the private and public sectors in\n Poland, coupled with his experience in the government affairs and\n finance will be invaluable to the Company as we progress with our Phase\n II activities at Project Olza.\"\n\n\n\"I have been working with the Rathdowney team since mid-2012 and\n experienced their commitment to responsible mineral development,\" said\n Mr. Konski.  \"I am excited about the potential of Project Olza and the\n opportunity to bring the responsible mineral development approach to a\n new economic development in Poland.  I am humbled and excited to be\n working in a region where mining has been going on for so many\n centuries.\"\n\n\nAbout Rathdowney\n\n\nRathdowney Resou...
