[{"type":"text","content":"\n Rank Group PLC\n08 January 2007\n\n\nThe Rank Group Plc ('Rank')\n\n- Result of EGM\n\nRank announces that the resolutions to approve the proposed disposal of the Hard\nRock businesses and the associated Special Dividend and Share Consolidation were\nduly passed by the Company's shareholders at the Extraordinary General Meeting\n('EGM') held earlier today.\n\nA copy of the resolutions passed at the EGM has been submitted to the UK Listing\nAuthority and will be available for inspection at the UK Listing Authority's\nDocument Viewing Facility, which is situated at the Financial Services\nAuthority, 25 The North Colonnade, Canary Wharf, London E14 5HS, during normal\nbusiness hours on any weekday (public holidays excepted).\n\nBoth resolutions were carried on a show of hands.
