R&Q Insurance Holdings Ltd (AIM: RQIH) ("R&Q" or the "Group"), the leading non-life global specialty insurance company focusing on the Program Management (“Accredited”) and Legacy Insurance (“R&Q Legacy”) businesses, is pleased to announce that, in accordance with the Purchase and Exchange Agreement entered into with Scopia Capital Management, Scopia has nominated Jerome Lande as their representative to be appointed to the R&Q Board. The Board intends to appoint Jerome as a Non-Executive Director, subject to the satisfactory completion of due diligence checks typical for the appointment of a director of an AIM company. Assuming Jerome is appointed prior to the Annual General Meeting to be held on 28 July 2023, Jerome will stand for re-election at the Annual General Meeting.
