[{"type":"text","content":"\n Reflexion Cosmetics PLC\n16 January 2006\n\n\nReflexion Cosmetics plc\n('Reflexion' or the 'Company')\n16 January 2006\n\n\nPreliminary results for the period ended 31 January 2005\n\nReflexion was incorporated to acquire under performing beauty product brands in\norder to develop an international cosmetics and toiletries business. The Company\nbegan trading on AIM on 8 March 2004.\n\nSince Admission, the Company has investigated a number of opportunities of which\nseveral were taken beyond the stage of initial exploratory discussion.\nUnfortunately none of these potential acquisitions have come to fruition and\nconsequently sizeable costs have been incurred, giving rise to a loss for the\nperiod ended 31 January 2005 of £373,060 and a reduced asset base at that date\nof £11,066.\n\nIn order to contain expenditure, the ongoing costs of the business were reviewed\nand a number of savings identified. In particular, Ratan Daryani offered to\nstand down as Chief Executive, as announced on 10 May 2005, and further\nexpenditure on the investigation of cosmetics businesses has been curtailed.\n\nThe ordinary shares of the Company were suspended from trading on AIM on 29 July\n2005 due to a delay in the publication of the Company's report and accounts for\nthe period ended 31 January 2005.
