(TSXV:RAK) (the “Company”) is pleased to announce that\nthe Company has completed 1,687 m of diamond drilling in 10 holes at\nthe Company’s flagship Astro project, as of August 8th. The 3,000 m\ndrill program is focussed on targeting a Reduced Intrusion-related\nGold System (RIRGS) in the intrusive bodies at the Astro plutonic\ncomplex. To date, drill core samples from the first 8 holes have been\nsent to ALS Global in Whitehorse, Yukon for analysis. The drill\nresults are expected in the coming weeks. The Astro intrusive complex\nincludes the Astro, HIT and SER properties, and covers approximately\n22,500 Ha located in the Tombstone Gold Belt that extends across the\nYukon and Northwest Territories border.\n \n \n \n \n The drill program to date has focused on the Radio-UV\ntargets where previous operators identified a strong gold anomaly in\ntalus and soil samples across a broad valley underlain by a Tombstone\nsuite intrusive stock. Broad spaced drilling across the valley has\nidentified sheeted quartz veining with minor amounts of sulphide\nminerals in the intrusive. (Figure 1). In many instances, there is a\nsignificant alteration halo containing disseminated sulphide minerals\nbordering the veins as is evident in the photo below. Follow-up\ndrilling will continue upon receipt of results.\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Click Image To View Full Size\n \n \n \n Figure\n \n \n 1: Drill core from hole AST-003\nshowing sheeted quartz veins with alteration halos around the veins.\n \n \n \n \n \n The Company has also\ncompleted airborne geophysical surveys on a number of the company’s\nproperties.\n \n \n The surveys were conducted by\nPrecision GeoSurveys Inc., utilizing their triple boom, gradient\nmagnetic, radiometric and VLF-EM system. On the Astro, HIT and SER\nproperties the Company expanded on a previously flown airborne\nmagnetic survey to cover the western portion of the Astro and capture\nthe HIT and SER mapped intrusive bodies.
