[{"type":"text","content":"Rackla Metals Defines Drill Targets at Astro, Increases Land Holdings\n \n \n (TheNewswire)\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Vancouver, B\n \n \n C\n \n \n -\n \n \n TheNewswire -\n \n \n March 1, 2023 -\n \n \n Rackla Metals Inc.\n \n \n (TSXV:RAK)\n \n \n (the “\n \n \n Company\n \n \n ”) is\npleased to announce it has increased the size of the Astro property\nwith the staking of claims that cover 822 hectares.  This new claim\nblock connects the Company’s land holdings between the Hit and the\nAstro border intrusive centres, where strong stream geochemistry and\ngeophysics\n \n \n indicate a relationship between these\ntwo exposed intrusive bodies.\n \n \n \n \n Over the past few months, the Company has worked up the\nextensive data packages generated by previous operators on the\nproperties presently under Rackla’s control and the resulting\ntargets are compelling.  At Astro, the principal target area is the\nRadio Target where soil and talus geochemical sampling has defined a\nstrong gold anomaly measuring 1,600m X 750m.  This anomaly is\nunderlain by an intrusive body that has never been tested by drilling\nor trenching.  A significant number of the soil samples returned\nvalues over 1,000 ppb gold.  The chemistry in these samples shows a\nstrong correlation of gold with bismuth, tellurium, tungsten, arsenic\nand tin, which are indications that the mineralization is associated\nwith a Reduced Intrusion-Related Gold System (RIRGS).  The\nconsistency and strength of the anomaly over the central target area\nis impressive.\n \n \n \n \n \n Astro Project – Compilation map\nwith new claim block location\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Click Image To View Full Size\n \n \n \n \n The new claim block covers the area to the west of the\ngold-in-soil anomaly, where scattered sampling previously completed\nindicates an extension of the gold anomaly.  The Company’s 2023\nexploration program will extend the soil grid to cover this area\nbetween the Astro and the Hit properties.  The Company is fully\npermitted to drill in the Northwest Territories and drilling will\ncommence there early in the summer program.  An application has been\nmade for a Class 1 permit to allow for drilling across the border in\nthe Yukon Territory, as ...
