(\"Questor\" or\n the \"Company\") (TSX-V: QST) is pleased to announce the appointment of\n Jean-Michel Gires, former President & CEO of Total E&P Canada Ltd., to\n the Company's Board of Directors effective immediately.  Mr. Gires is\n the fifth independent director of the six member Board.\n\n\nMr. Gires is currently a Venture Partner at Chrysalix Energy Venture\n Capital, a firm focused on early-stage breakthrough sustainable\n innovation that helps industries in transition reduce costs, energy use\n and environmental impact. Mr. Gires had a long and distinguished career\n with Total, a global energy company and most recently served as\n President and Chief Executive Officer of Total E&P Canada from 2009\n through 2012. Prior to that, Mr. Gires served for three years as\n Executive Vice President of Sustainable Development & Environment at\n Total SA and as President at Total Energy Ventures International SAS.\n Mr. Gires was a member of Total S.A. Management Committee commencing in\n 2003. Over the past 25 years, Mr. Gires led a range of projects around\n the world and was instrumental in establishing best practices for\n Total's projects in the areas of advanced research & development,\n project management, environmental responsibility, stakeholder\n relations, and community capacity building. He was a Co-Chairman of the\n Oil Sands Leadership Initiative (OSLI) and Canada's Oil Sands\n Innovation Alliance (COSIA). He also received one of France's highest\n civilian honours, the Chevalier of the Legion D-Honneur. Mr. Gires is a\n graduate of France's Ecole Polytechnique and an Engineer with the Corps\n des Mines.
