Standard & Poor's Announces Changes in the S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index

TORONTO, Oct. 4 /CNW/ - Standard & Poor's will make the following changes
in the S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index after the close of trading on Tuesday,
October 4, 2005:

-   Pursuant to a special resolution passed by shareholders on September
    15, 2005, Altachem Pharma Ltd. (TSXVN:AAF) will change its name to
    Quest PharmaTech Ltd. The company will trade under the new ticker
    symbol "QPT" and the new CUSIP number 74836M 10 6. There is no
    consolidation of capital.

Company additions to and deletions from an S&P equity index do not in any
way reflect an opinion on the investment merits of the company.
