Quest PharmaTech Inc. (formerly Altachem Pharma Ltd) - Name change

Trading Symbol: QPT:TSX Venture Exchange

EDMONTON, Oct. 5 /CNW/ - The Company wishes to announce that further to a
resolution passed by shareholders at the September Annual General Meeting, it
has now officially changed its name from Altachem Pharma Ltd. to Quest
PharmaTech Inc. In connection with this name change, the Company's common
shares will be traded on the TSX Venture Exchange under the new trading symbol
"QPT" (former trading symbol "AAF").
The Company website has changed as well. The new website location is
www.questpharmatech.com and the website will undergo further changes over the
next few weeks. All other contact information (address, phone, fax, etc.)
remains unchanged.
Company employee email addresses will remain the same except for the
replacement of "altachempharma.com" with "questpharmatech.com".
The Company is also pleased to announce that Dr. David J. Cox, President
and CEO, will be publicly unveiling the Company's new name and branding, and
progress in implementing its business strategy to the investment community, at
BioContact 2005, to be held today at the Chateau Frontenac, Salle Frontenac,
in Quebec City. Dr. Cox's presentation is scheduled for 3:30 pm (EST).
