[{"type":"text","content":"Durango Drilling Returns Lithium on the Discovery Property, Quebec\n \n \n (TheNewswire)\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Vancouver, BC - TheNewswire -\nDecember 12, 2022 – Durango Resources Inc.\n \n \n (TSXV:DGO) (Frankfurt:86A1)\n(OTC:ATOXF),\n \n \n (the “\n \n \n Company\n \n \n ” or\n“\n \n \n Durango\n \n \n ”) announces that further to the news of August 2, 2022,\nthe Company has begun to receive assays for its summer exploration\ncampaign on its wholly owned Discovery Property (the “\n \n \n Property\n \n \n ”) in\nQuébec.\n \n \n \n \n The Discovery Property adjoins Sayona Mining Ltd.\n(ASX-SYA) in the highly prospective James Bay Territory, 100km north\nof Chibougamau, Québec in the Frotet-Evans greenstone belt. On July\n6, 2022,\n \n \n Durango announced the completion of a\n1,737m exploration drill campaign in an area with known gold anomalies\non the Discovery Property. Six exploratory holes were completed\nranging from depths of 150m to 402m and the drill core is still\nundergoing assaying.\n \n \n \n \n To date, partial results have come in for holes 1, 2,\nand 4. The Company is pleased to report that elevated lithium,\nrubidium, and cesium have been intersected in each of the three holes\nassayed despite uneconomic gold values. Lithium bearing pegmatite pods\nhave been intersected in each of the three drill holes assayed and\nvalues up to 748ppm lithium, 3,830ppm rubidium and 436ppm cesium have\nbeen reported. Elevated copper and zinc were also present in all three\nholes, reaching up to 2,100ppm copper and up to 4,740ppm zinc.\n \n \n Ten pegmatite dykes were mapped at surface this\nyear in a relatively small area of the property with lengths ranging\nfrom a few meters to 55 meters in length.
