About this update from Quadrise Plc

[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n6 December 2023\n \nQuadrise Plc (\"Quadrise\" or the \"Company\")\nUpdate re bioMSAR™ and bioMSAR™ Zero Development\nFinalised results from recent diesel engine testing identify new pathways towards bioMSAR™ Zero\nQuadrise Plc (AIM:QED), the supplier of innovative energy solutions for a cleaner planet, is pleased to confirm the finalisation of results from bioMSAR™ fuel testing completed in November 2023 (the \"bioMSAR™ Tests\"), further to the Company's announcement of 27 November 2023.\nThe ultimate objective of the Company's bioMSAR™ programme is to supply the marine and industrial fuel sectors with sustainable biofuels that are lower in cost, more efficient, safer yet simple to use, and which generate the fewest harmful emissions.\nThe bioMSAR™ Tests were conducted using the Company's 40kW Cummins diesel engine installed at Aquafuel Research Limited (\"Aquafuel\").\nKey highlights of bioMSAR™ Tests\n·    bioMSAR™ blends containing Vertoro's Crude Sugar Oil (\"CSO™\") reduced carbon dioxide (\"CO2\") emissions by over 30% when considering increased engine efficiency of up to 7%, and significantly reduced emissions of Nitrogen Oxides ('NOx') and Carbon Monoxide (\"CO\") when compared with diesel.\n·    New bioMSAR™ formulations incorporating biofuels containing waste-based methyl esters were shown to reduce CO2 emissions by over 45%, increase engine efficiency by up to 7%, and reduce NOx and CO emissions significantly when compared with diesel, providing a new potential pathway to bioMSAR™ Zero.\nbioMSAR™ with Crude Sugar Oils and other biomass-derived sugars\nQuadrise and biorefinery specialists, Vertoro BV (\"Vertoro\"), have been collaborating to develop a cost-effective supplement or alternative to glycerine in bioMSAR™ fuel under the Joint Development Agreement (\"JDA\") announced by Quadrise on 21 September 2022.\nThe bioMSAR™ Tests concluded in November were completed on blends of bioMSAR™ containing up to 40% of Vertoro's CSO™ as a replacement for renewable glycerine. When compared with conventional diesel fuel, the CSO™ bioMSAR™ demonstrated:\n·    Reductions of up to 25% in carbon dioxide (\"CO2\") emissions before engine efficiency savings are considered.\n·    Additional engine efficiency improvements ...
