During his 10-year career in the United States Marine Corps as a specialist in a Special Operations Capable Marine Expeditionary Unit, Mr. Bigger held various leadership roles including his time as a Non-Commissioned Officer, when he led a boat team of eight Critical Skills Operators. He was a member of the legendary Bravo Company 1/1 1st Battalion 1st Marines (1/1), precursor to what is now the Marine Raider Regiment, and during his tenure, the unit Mr. Bigger served with was recognized as one of the top Special Operations Capable units in the Marine Corps in 1988. Mr. Bigger specialized in amphibious warfare and cliff assault operations, in addition to a wide variety of other tactics and skills.
