QMC Quantum Minerals announces Geotech VTEM conductor on the Main Rocky Lake Target confirmed by Drill Hole Massive Sulphide Intersection

About this update from Qmc Quantum Minerals Corp.

[{"type":"text","content":"\nQMC Quantum Minerals announces Geotech VTEM conductor on the Main Rocky Lake Target confirmed by Drill Hole Massive Sulphide Intersection\n\n(via Thenewswire.ca)\n\n \n-Massive sulphide mineralization on the main Rocky Lake Target\nconfirmed.\n\n\n \n-Six more discrete separate VTEM targets identified in addition to the\ntwenty one targets already delineated.\n\n\n \nVancouver, April 11, 2012 - Further to the press releases dated March\n29, 2012 and September 21, 2011, QMC Quantum Minerals Corp. (TSXV:\nQMC) (\"QMC\" or the \"Company\") is pleased to\nannounce an update of the Geotech air-borne VTEM plus Time Domain EM\nsystem (\"VTEM\") performed on the Rocky Lake massive sulphide\n(Rocky Lake and Rocky-Namew) projects, Flin Flon district, Manitoba.\n\n\n \nDetailed interpretation of VTEM data by Maxwell Modelling on the main\nRocky Lake massive sulphide target showed the presence of a deep\nseated conductor. This conductor appears to be at least 1000 metres\nlong and seated at a depth of 200 to 250 metres. The conductor was\nconfirmed by drill hole RL11-2. Massive sulphide mineralization was\nintersected at the bottom of RL11-2. Mineralization consists of\nsemi-massive sulphides, mostly pyrrhotite, pyrite with visible\nchalcopyrite, and is hosted near the contact of the hanging wall\nfelsic rocks with the footwall mafic rocks. The drill hole was\nstopped in mineralization because of drilling problems. Seven drill\nholes at a spacing of 100 metres are recommended to test this\nconductor along strike. Further details with regards to the grade of\nthe mineralization in RL11-2 will be released upon receipt of the\nassay data.\n\n\n \nThis massive sulphide intersection also confirms the geological\nre-interpretation of the Hudson Bay's historical diamond drilling\nprogram and this suggests that Hudson Bay missed the deep-seated\nmassive sulphide mineralization.\n\n\n \nThe VTEM survey covered all the project licenses and claims for a\ntotal of 2142 line kilometres with 160 metre line spacing over an area\nof 316 square kilometers. Originally twenty one (21) VTEM targets\nwere identified with fifteen (15) classified as first priority\ntargets. Further study of the VTEM data by Geotech identified six (6)\nmore discrete separate VTEM targets. These targets will also be\nincluded in future drilling.\n\n\n \nPhase 1 drilling program c...
