(OTCQB: \n PURE), creator of the patented silver dihydrogen citrate (SDC) \n antimicrobial, today announced the Company has received a permission \n letter from the USDA’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) \n granting approval to conduct an in-plant poultry processing trial of \n SDC-based PURE Control® antimicrobial.\n \n \n A non-toxic intervention to dramatically reduce pathogens including Salmonella, \n PURE Control will be spray applied to whole chicken carcasses during \n Online Reprocessing and Offline Reprocessing. For the trial, PURE \n Control will replace the current processing aid currently being used by \n the plant.\n \n \n PURE Control\n \n \n PURE Control maximizes microbial control and is highly effective against Salmonella, \n Listeria, E. coli and many other pathogens. During extensive \n laboratory testing, and in simulated plant conditions, application of \n PURE Control to raw poultry carcasses during processing has demonstrated \n the potential to reduce Salmonella to below detection levels. The \n plant trial is anticipated to confirm a meaningful reduction in \n pathogens in commercial application. This addresses the top priority of \n the USDA in its Salmonella Action Plan, to reduce the presence of Salmonella \n in poultry sold to consumers by 50% from current levels. Presently \n approximately 28% of raw poultry sold to consumers contains Salmonella.\n \n \n In-Plant Poultry Processing Trial\n \n \n \n The two phase trial will start within the next two weeks and will last \n 4-6 weeks.\n\n \n \n During the two weeks prior to the initiation of the trial, PURE \n engineering will install the proprietary mixing and delivery \n equipment for application of PURE Control.\n \n \n \n \n The trial will be conducted following the protocol proposed by PURE \n and approved by the USDA-FSIS, and will be monitored by FSIS \n Inspection Personnel in the plant.\n \n \n During the trial, samples will be randomly pulled and tested for \n microbial efficacy and residues. The processed poultry will be \n released into commerce and sold to consumers.\n \n \n In Phase II of the trial, additional post chill poultry parts will be \n evaluated using a dip after the completion of Phase I.\n \n \n \n Commercialization into $350 Million US Market\n \n \n Assuming a successful plant...
