[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\n\n\nRIMOUSKI, May 4 /CNW Telbec/ - Drilling by Puma (PUM :TSX-V) into the\nShaft zone on the Nicholas-Denys property has intersected a massive sulphide\nlens containing 461.8 g/t Ag over 6 metres at a depth of 37 metres. The\nmineralization was intersected in three holes at vertical depths of 37, 126\nand 159 metres, respectively.\nThe silver-rich zone occurs in a semi-massive to massive sulphide lens\nmineralized with silver, gold, zinc and lead over an apparent thickness of\n12.7 metres averaging 248.4 g/t Ag, 1.1 g/t Au, 2.35% Zn and 1.13% Pb. The two\nother drill holes in the same area also intersected the mineralized lens at\ngreater depth. These drill holes confirm the extension of the mineralization\nto a vertical depth of 159 metres.\n>\n\nThis mineralized lens was also intersected in the 1950's and 1960's by\n30 holes spaced 25 metres apart drilled by Sturgeon Silver Mines. During this\nera, the Puma drill holes indicate that the mineralized lens is wider than was\ndefined by Sturgeon Silver Mines and confirms the generally high silver and\ngold grades in the lens.\nPuma has recently started a follow-up drill program on the Shaft\nmineralized lens, 400 metres east of the three holes reported here.\n\nAssays were performed by ALS Chemex in Val d'Or, using atomic absorption\nand ICP.
