("Pulse" or the "Company")\nannounces that a special shareholders' meeting will be held at 10:00 a.m.\n(Calgary time) on September 21, 2007 at the Calgary Petroleum Club to approve\nthe previously announced shareholder rights plan.\n\n\nPulse expects to mail an information circular for the special\nshareholders' meeting by August 31, 2007 to its shareholders of record at\nAugust 24, 2007.\n\n\nIn accordance with the TSX Company Manual when a shareholder rights plan\nis adopted after the announcement of a takeover bid for the company, the TSX\nhas advised Pulse that it is deferring its consideration of the acceptance for\nfiling of the shareholder rights plan until such time as the TSX is satisfied\nthat the Ontario Securities Commission will not intervene pursuant to National\nPolicy 62-202 regarding defensive tactics.\n\n\nDisclaimer: Certain information contained herein may constitute\nforward-looking statements under applicable securities laws.
