(TSX Venture: PTX) today announced\nthat it has retained the services of Chief Glenn Nolan to facilitate contact\nwith First Nations communities and provide a hands on aboriginal perspective\nfor the Company. Chief Nolan brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to\nhis role as Advisor. Interestingly, during the late 1970s and '80s, Chief\nNolan worked extensively in exploration, conducting geophysical surveys\nthroughout Canada, which gives him valuable insight into the programs and\nprocedures Platinex aims to employ on its properties in cooperation with First\nNations groups.\n\n\nChief Nolan is the elected Chief of the Missanabie Cree First Nation;\ncurrently serves as the second Vice President of the Prospectors and\nDevelopers Association of Canada; and is President of Learning Together, a\nnonprofit organization sharing information and experience with Aboriginal\ncommunities across Canada and internationally.\n\n\nJames Trusler, President and CEO of Platinex, stated, "Chief Nolan has\ndemonstrated strong leadership in both the First Nations community and the\nmineral exploration industry; he is a distinguished addition to our Platinex\nteam."\n\n\nAbout Platinex Inc.\n\n\nPlatinex is a Canadian exploration company based near Toronto.
