[{"type":"text","content":"\n \n \n \n RNS Number : 2915I\n Prudential PLC\n 11 August 2021\n \n \n \n \n 11 August 2021\n \n \n \n \n \n 2021 First Interim Dividend \n \n \n \n \n \n Prudential plc (\"Prudential\") has today announced its 2021 first interim dividend of 5.37 US cents per ordinary share. \n \n \n \n \n \n Shareholders holding shares on the UK or Hong Kong share registers will receive their dividend payments in either pounds sterling or Hong Kong dollars respectively, unless they elect otherwise. \n \n \n \n \n \n Shareholders holding shares on the UK or Hong Kong registers may elect to receive dividend payments in US dollars. Elections must be made through the UK share registrar on or before 6 September 2021 or the Hong Kong share registrar on or before 13 September 2021. Further information is available at \n \n https://www.prudentialplc.com/investors/shareholder-information/dividend/dividend-currency-election\n \n \n \n \n \n \n The corresponding amount per share in pounds sterling and Hong Kong dollars is expected to be announced on or about 20 September 2021.
