[{"type":"text","content":"\n Provexis PLC\n09 January 2006\n\n\n9 January 2006\n\n PROVEXIS PLC\n ('Provexis' or the 'Company')\n\n Further Major Distribution Agreement for SircoTM\n\nProvexis, the nutraceutical company that develops scientifically-proven\nfunctional and medical foods, announces a further distribution agreement with a\nmarket leading supermarket chain for its SircoTM heart health juice drink.\n\nFrom February 2006, SircoTM Blueberry & Apple variety will be stocked in\napproximately 200 of this supermarket's key premier stores bringing the total UK\ndistribution base for SircoTM to over 500 stores by the end of February 2006.\n\nFurther to the Company's announcement released on 16 December 2005, SircoTM is\nnow available in 211 Sainsbury's stores and is expected to be available in 100\nstores of the second multiple supermarket chain from 23 January 2006.\n\nSircoTM is the first heart health product to contain the patented FruitflowTM\ntechnology. FruitflowTM was developed by Provexis in order to help regular\n'healthy' consumers reduce the risk of heart attack and stroke. The natural\nbioactive works by reducing blood platelet aggregation ('thinning the blood'), \na significant contributing factor to a thrombosis (internal blood clot). SircoTM\ncarries the health claim 'Helps to Maintain a Healthy Heart and Benefits\nCirculation' and is approved by the leading heart health charity, HEART UK.\n\nCommenting on the expanded distribution, Dr Stephen Franklin, CEO of Provexis,\nsaid:\n\n'We are delighted to have secured a listing with a third major retailer.
