[{"type":"text","content":"\n \nProteome Sciences Plc (\"Proteome Sciences\" or \"the Company\")\n\n \n\nExtension of Option Exercise Period\n\n \nThe Remuneration Committee and the Board of Proteome Sciences have today\nresolved to extend the exercise period for an option over 433,124 Ordinary\nShares of 1p each in the Company which was granted to Christopher Pearce, Chief\nExecutive Officer, in March 2000 and which is due to expire on 20 April 2007.\nThe option cannot at present be exercised as the Company is currently in a\nclose period.\n\nThe Board has therefore extended the exercise period for these options for a\nperiod of one month from the end of the close period.
