("Georox"\n or the "Company") (GXR:TSX-V; OF6A:FRA) has appointed Dr.\n Krishna Persad  Vice-President of the Caribbean  Region.\n \n\n Dr. Krishna Persad, has a B.Sc. (Special Honours) and a Ph.D. in Geology\n with over forty years experience in the petroleum industry, during which\n time he has come to be recognized as an industry pioneer and the world's\n leading expert on the geology of Trinidad and Tobago. Dr. Persad is a\n recipient of many awards including being named by the South Chamber of\n Industry and Commerce in Trinidad as one of the 40 most influential\n persons in the Trinidad and Tobago Petroleum Industry in the last 100\n years. In April 2010 he was appointed a member of the Government Task\n Force on establishing a policy and regulatory framework for carbon\n dioxide emissions in Trinidad & Tobago and is the Chair of the\n sub-committee on New Business Opportunities.\n \n\n Dr. Persad worked for various oil companies during the period 1970 and\n 1987, locally and internationally and held many senior management\n positions. During this time his work resulted in the discoveries of two\n of the biggest oil finds in Trinidad with over 3 billion barrels oil in\n place discovered at Trinmar.
