Paul will join the Group and become an Executive member of the Board with effect from August 22nd 2016.\n \nPaul (45) has over 20 years' experience in senior finance, general management and strategy roles. Paul is currently Chief Corporate Development Officer of Electrocomponents plc where he has been a member of the Group Executive Management Team since 2008. Paul commenced his career and qualified as an accountant with Coopers and Lybrand. He then moved into finance roles in industry, initially with Whitbread plc, following which he spent eight years with InBev, before joining Electrocomponents plc in 2007 to lead the UK finance team. Since then he has led the UK operating company, the group digital business and the global strategy function.\nPaul will bring to HSS a broad range of financial, operational and strategy experience across global multi-site businesses. Steve Bailey, who was appointed as Interim Chief Financial Officer on 20 April 2016, will continue working within the business for a period of time to provide a smooth handover of CFO responsibilities to Paul.\nAlan Peterson, Chairman of HSS Hire Group plc, commented:\n\"I am delighted that Paul has agreed to join HSS and believe that his extensive financial and operational experience will be very valuable to the Group as we embark on our next stage of development and growth.
