(SSOL), a\nleading solar power technology and solar system integration company, announced\ntoday that it has successfully completed construction for a 2.2MW-DC solar\nsystem as an addition to a 1.1MW-DC solar PV project installed in 2015 on Wreden Ranch in California.\n\nWith the additional\n2.2MW-DC project, the overall 3.3MW solar array will be the largest privately\nowned solar system ever installed on a California dairy. The solar energy provided\nfrom the system will offset around 85% of the farms electricity consumption. Total\n10,572 Canadian Solar Panels, together with SMA Inverters and ATI single axis\ntracker systems, will be deployed on the 18 acres land. The system will significantly reduce the need for electricity from the\nlocal utility and avoid an estimated 90,660 metric tons of CO2 emissions over the next 20 years,\nequal to removing more than 957 cars from the road annually.
