IAW is the subsidiary of Professional Diversity Network, Inc. (NASDAQ: IPDN), (“PDN” or the “Company”), a global developer and operator of online and in-person networks that provide access to networking, training, educational and employment opportunities for diverse individuals.\n Earlier this year, IAW launched two new initiatives to provide support and resources to help connect women: Regional Networking Events and Virtual Networking Roundtables. According to a recent survey conducted by Professional Convention Management Association (“PCMA”), a widely recognized network of business events strategists, 87% of event industry professionals said they have canceled — and 66% have postponed — events as a result of COVID-19. Seven out of 10 respondents have moved their face-to-face events partially or fully to a virtual platform, and believed these types of events will continue alongside in-person events in the future.
