She will also join the CSS board as an executive\ndirector.\n\n\nSince 2005 Caroline Michel has been Managing Director of the William Morris\nAgency in the UK, the US owned international literary and talent agency. Before\njoining WMA she was Managing Director and Publisher of Harper Press, the\nliterary division of Harper Collins, following ten years as Publisher of\nVintage, the paperback division of Random House. She was one of the Founder\nDirectors of Bloomsbury Publishing, is a Governor of the British Film Institute\n(BFI), a Board Member of PEN - the community for writers and readers around the\nworld - and was on the Man Booker Prize Committee for five years.\n\n\nShe has represented and published writers such as Jeanette Winterson, Ian\nMcEwan, Rose Tremain, Salman Rushdie, AS Byatt, Simon Schama, Lisa Jardine, and\nMartin Amis.\n\n\nJim Wiatt, Chairman and Chief Executive William Morris, said: 'Caroline Michel\nhas been a tremendous colleague and friend over the past two years and has\nplayed a key role in the success of our U.K. based business.
