[{"type":"text","content":"\n \n \n 14 June 2022\n \n \n  \n \n \n \n  \n \n \n \n \n PPHE Hotel Group Limited\n \n \n \n \n  \n \n \n \n (\"PPHE Hotel Group\", \"PPHE\" or the \"Company\")\n \n \n \n  \n \n \n \n \n First UK art'otel to open at Battersea Power Station in 2022\n \n \n \n \n  \n \n \n \n PPHE Hotel Group, the owner, developer and operator of £1.8 billion of international hospitality assets, is pleased to announce the opening later this year of art'otel London Battersea Power Station, the UK's first art'otel.\n \n \n  \n \n \n The hotel, which is owned by Battersea Power Station Development Company, will be operated by PPHE's hospitality operating platform under a management agreement and is the first of several new art'otels to open in London, Rome, Zagreb and Pula (Croatia).\n \n \n  \n \n \n PPHE's\n operating platform is fully scalable and is designed to grow through managing fully or jointly owned real estate. The platform provides best in class revenue management and a flexible contract structure for asset owners.\n \n \n  \n \n \n art'otel London Battersea Power Station will be located within Battersea Roof Gardens, a new building designed by Foster + Partners forming a key part of Electric Boulevard, a collection of buildings comprising homes, offices and a new high street which sits to the south of the iconic Power Station. With 164 bedrooms it will feature a new skyline destination restaurant and bar, rooftop swimming pool, as well as a gym, spa, event facilities, a grand café and art gallery.\n \n \n  \n \n \n In keeping with the art'otel brand, the hotel will feature colourful interiors and will be filled with art inspired by the history and heritage of the Grade II listed Power Station. Award-winning Spanish artist and designer, Jaime Hayon, has today been announced as the interior designer and signature artist for the property.
