[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\n6 June 2023\n \nPPHE HOTEL GROUP LIMITED (\"PPHE\" or \"the Group\")\n \nAnalyst Site Visit to Croatia\n \nPPHE Hotel Group, the international hospitality real estate group which develops, owns and operates hotels and resorts, is hosting an analyst site visit to Croatia to visit properties owned and operated by its subsidiary company Arena Hospitality Group d.d (\"Arena\"), one of Croatia's best-known hospitality groups.\n \nDuring the visit, PPHE and Arena senior management will provide an overview of Arena's operations along with a tour of its properties in Pula and Medulin.\n \nSince PPHE first acquired an interest in Arena Hospitality Group (AHG) in 2008, the business has been transformed through an extensive programme of new asset acquisitions, asset repositioning, operational improvements and ongoing capital expenditure. In total, AHG has invested c.€200 million into the Croatian leisure assets, including c.€50 million in the more recent relaunch of the Grand Hotel Brioni and the upcoming art'otel Zagreb, which are yet to contribute meaningfully to the Group. Since 2008, AHG has grown its EBITDA six-fold, to in excess of €30 million, delivering healthy 10%+ unlevered returns.\n \nArena currently encompasses a collection of 31 hotels, self-catering apartment complexes and camping/glamping sites across Europe, offering beachfront locations within the historic settings of Pula and Medulin in Istria, Croatia, as well as year-round exposure to a number of capital and key regional European cities such as Berlin, Budapest, Belgrade and Zagreb.
