[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\n\n\n\nWINNIPEG, Aug. 3, 2012 /CNW Telbec/ - Power Corporation of Canada (TSX:\n POW) announces that its Board of Directors has approved the appointment\n of Mr. Stéphane Lemay as Vice-President, General Counsel and Secretary.\n Mr. Lemay also becomes media spokesperson for the Corporation.\n\n\nMr. Lemay joined Power Corporation in 2005 as Vice-President, Assistant\n General Counsel and Associate Secretary. Prior to joining Power, he\n held various executive legal and public affairs positions with\n companies in the telecommunications and manufacturing sectors. Mr.\n Lemay began his career as a lawyer in a Montreal-based national law\n firm.\n\n\nMr. Edward Johnson is stepping down as Senior Vice-President, General\n Counsel and Secretary, having passed the Corporation's normal age of\n retirement, and will assume other corporate duties within the Power\n group.\n\n\nMr. Johnson joined Power Corporation in 1985 as Vice-President and\n Secretary.
