[{"type":"text","content":"\n Porvair PLC\n21 April 2006\n\nFor immediate release 21 April 2006\n\n\n Porvair plc ('Porvair')\n\n Retirement of Chairman and notice of filing\n\n\nPorvair today announces that it has lodged copies of its special resolutions\npassed at the recent Annual General Meeting with the Financial Services\nAuthority Document Viewing Facility.\n\n\nAs previously announced in the Group's preliminary statement on 24 January 2006,\nJohn Morgan stood down as Chairman of Porvair and retired from the Board\nfollowing the Annual General Meeting held on 12 April 2006. John retires after\n25 years with the Group, the last seven as Non Executive Chairman. The Board\nwould like to thank him for his considerable contribution to the development of\nthe Group; he leaves with the best wishes of the Board and employees.
