[{"type":"text","content":"\n Porvair PLC\n17 April 2007\n\n\n Porvair plc ('Porvair')\n\n\n\n Milestone reached in key growth project for improved metals filter product\n\nPorvair today announces that customer deliveries have started on one of its key\ngrowth projects - a new generation of filters for nickel and cobalt based metal\nalloys used in high grade metal castings. The technology for these filters was\noriginally developed at the Sandia National Laboratory in the USA and has been\nin development by Porvair and its partners for 5 years.\n\nPorvair has a multi-year customer commitment for the new filter and will scale\nup its production during the rest of 2007. Full capacity, worth $5 million per\nannum in revenue, is expected to be reached by the middle of 2008.\n\nBen Stocks, CEO of Porvair plc said:\n\n'We have been working closely with our technology partners and customers to\nbring this new filter to market.
