Exercise of Options, etc.

Porvair PLC 25 August 2000 Porvair plc ('the Company') Exercise of options Application has been made for 46,475 ordinary shares of 2p each in the Company ('Ordinary Shares') to be admitted to the Official List. The Ordinary Shares are being issued pursuant to the exercise of options by Mr L G Bingham, a director of the Company. Of these 26,475 Ordinary Shares are being exercised at £2.3608p pursuant to the exercise of options under the Company's Share Option Scheme 1986 and 20,000 Ordinary Shares are being exercised at £2.99p under the Company's Share Option Scheme 1997. Admission is expected to become effective on 30 August 2000. Following the exercise of the options, Mr Bingham will hold 51,475 Ordinary Shares and will hold an interest in options over 20,000 Ordinary Shares exercisable at £4.13p.
