[{"type":"text","content":"\n Portmeirion Group PLC\n22 December 2005\n\n\n PORTMEIRION GROUP PLC\n\n ANNOUNCEMENT\n\n\nPortmeirion Group PLC today announces that it has finalised the contract for the\nlease of a new warehouse and distribution centre.\n\nThe new warehouse will be 60,000 sq.ft. and located in Stoke-on-Trent, close to\nthe existing manufacturing site. Construction will start early in 2006 for\ncompletion by the Autumn. It is planned that the new warehouse will be fully\noperational by early 2007, replacing the two existing warehouse sites in\nStoke-on-Trent.\n\nThe new warehouse will be fitted with modern handling equipment and will be able\nto warehouse and distribute increased volumes of both UK manufactured and\nimported goods.
