(IOG - TSX Venture), (the \"Company\") is pleased to announce it has closed the previously announced bought deal private placement financing of 2,143,000 flow-through common shares (the \"Shares\") at a price of $1.40 per Share for gross proceeds of $3,000,200 (the \"Offering\").  The Offering was completed by Dundee Securities Corporation (\"Dundee Securities\") as sole underwriter. In consideration for their efforts, Dundee Securities received a cash commission of 6% of the proceeds raised under the Offering. The Shares are subject to a four month hold period expiring March 20, 2010. In addition, Dundee Securities placed, pursuant to an underwriter's option, an additional 370,138 Shares, on the same terms as the Offering, for additional gross proceeds of $518,193, bringing the total gross proceeds of the Offering to $3,518,393.
