It was estimated that there\n was a total cost of over $2,000 per run the AFD made to campus.\n\n\nMore importantly, is the resulting apathy towards a potentially\n life-threatening situation. "When I hear the alarm go off, I tend to\n shrug it off or sigh because it's almost never real," said an Ohio\n University sophomore student.\n\n\nThe Safe-T-sensor, developed by Pioneering is the only technology of its\n kind that helps mitigate the fires and false alarms/nuisance calls\n attributed to the use of microwave ovens on campus.
