During the presentation Pioneering presented a\ncase study featuring U.S. Naval Base, Sasebo Japan. The study confirmed that\nthe Safe-T-element cooking technology in tandem with the Base's fire\nprevention and safety initiatives successfully eliminated 100% of the stovetop\ncooking fires at its Naval Station based on a pre-and-post analysis of 600\nhousing units over the past 18 months.\n\n\nCommander U.S. Naval Forces Fleet Activity Sasebo, Japan, Gerald Clarke,\nsaid of the results, "This product does everything it is supposed to do - help\neliminate cooking fires."\n\n\nFor the first time ever the number one cause of household fire, stove top\ncooking, a problem that has remained consistent since the fire prevention\ncommunity began collecting data has been eliminated in a statistically\nrelevant sample study under the watchful eye of the United States Naval Fire\nPrevention Services.\n\n\nAccording to the National Fire Protection Association household fires\nresult in direct losses of close to $1 billion annually.
