McGovern and Senator's Elizabeth Warren and Edward Markey who thanked the Federal Emergency Management Agency for providing the funding. These competitive grant programs are administered by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) in cooperation with the U.S. Fire Administration (USFA).\nThe Worcester Fire Department is working with the Worcester Housing Authority to implement a cooking fire education and prevention program at the four WHA apartment towers. The towers have 759 units and house 862 elderly residents (86% of those residents being disabled).
