After the\nappointment of myself as Chairman, Edward Oliver as Financial Director, and\nDuncan Lipscombe as a Non-Executive Director working alongside Dr Paul Harper,\nwe were very pleased to be able to promote Dr Christophe Chassagnole from his\nposition of project leader to the position of Chief Operating Officer. During\nthe year he has with the assistance of Professor David Fell recruited Dr's Eric\nFernandez, Adam Hardy and David Orrell to senior scientific roles, to create the\nnucleus of what we believe to be a balanced and remarkably able team.\n\nDuring the year we have commenced our work on the 3 years European research\nprogramme 'Tempo' which is co-ordinated by the French main medical research\norganization Inserm (Institut National de la Sante et de la Recherche Medicale).\nInterim meetings with the co-partners have shown the benefits of our programme\nto the project. In fact so much so, that we have been invited to tender to join\na similar European multi partner research programme, and the results of our\nproposal, if successful will be announced in 2008.\n\nWe commenced a 7 month project for ValiRx Plc (formally Cronos Therapeutics),\nin February and after the contract was completed were awarded the testimonial by\nthe company from George Morris, Chief Development Officer of ValiRx, who said:\n\n'Physiomics service and technology is absolutely superb, we (ValiRx) have just\nhad some work carried out and it has saved us very significant amounts of\nd...
