Partnership Deal with Advance Technology (UK) Plc

Screen PLC 4 January 2000 Screen Plc ('the Company') The Company issued a press release today an extract from which is set out below: Screen Plc, the electronic security and controls specialist, is pleased to announce a partnership deal with Advance Technology (UK) Plc (winner of the 1996 Information Technology Europe Award) and the Company's subsidiary, Petards Datax Limited ('Datax'). The partnership will be focused on providing long range, reliable, unregulated radio communications. Datax is using the technology to enhance its range of mobile data systems to exploit the emerging hand-held markets using WAP (Wireless Application Protocol) technology. The hand-held products are being designed to work with Datax's existing mobile data products which have been adopted by 22 of the UK's Police Forces.
