[{"type":"text","content":"\n\nThis is a Reach (i.e. non-regulatory) announcement and the information contained is not considered to be material or to have a significant impact on management's expectations of the Company's performance\n \n19 March 2025\n \nPETARDS GROUP PLC\n \n (\"Petards\")\n \n'Made in the North East' Awards 2025\n \nPetards, the AIM quoted developer of advanced security, communication and surveillance systems, is pleased to announce that Petards Rail received two awards at the recent Insider 'Made in the North East' Awards 2025.\n \nAt the awards ceremony, Petards Rail was announced as the winner of both the Automotive, Aerospace and Rail Award and the Sustainable/Ethical Manufacturer Award.\n \nJudges cited the company's web-based platform for editing, validating, approving, and distributing its Automatic Selective Door Operation (ASDO) Database wirelessly, as revolutionary in the way it enables train fleets to respond to infrastructure changes.\n \nIn awarding the company Sustainable/Ethical Manufacturer, the judges felt Petards Rail's ambitious sustainability targets for 2030, its commitment to maintaining EcoVadis Platinum rating and its ongoing improvement across all ESG pillars made it the stand-out candidate.\n \nIn addition, Petards Rail was also shortlisted for Manufacturing Future Talent and one of its apprentices, Logan Cook, was shortlisted as Apprentice of the Year.\n \nInsider's Made in the North East Awards 2025 showcased the quality products and services that manufacturing and engineering companies in the North East supply, and the skilled people that work for them.
