[{"type":"text","content":"\n Petards Group PLC\n30 October 2007\n\n\n\n Petards Group plc ('Petards' or 'the Company')\n\n\n\nContract award\n\nPetards, the AIM listed developer of advanced surveillance systems, announces a\nfurther major contract award from the Ministry of Defence.\n\nFollowing the announcement on 23 October of a contract for the supply of\nairborne chaff and flare dispensing equipment, Petards Joyce-Loebl has been\nawarded a further contract for similar equipment which will form part of an\nintegrated defensive aids suite to be installed on rotary wing aircraft. The\ntotal of these two contracts is in excess of £2m. Deliveries on both contracts\nare expected to commence in early 2008 and are planned be completed during that\nyear.
