Holding in Company

Peel Hldgs PLC 11 October 2001 Disclosure of interests in shares pursuant to Sections 198 to 208 of the Companies Act 1985 The Company has been notified today of a transfer of 2,500,000 Ordinary shares of 25p each resulting in the following interests:- - Tokenhouse Holdings Limited has a beneficial interest in 39,177,682 (previously 41,677,682) Ordinary shares representing 63.01% of the issued ordinary share capital in the Company. - Velida Investments Limited a wholly owned subsidiary of Tokenhouse Investments Limited has a beneficial interest in 2,500,000 Ordinary shares representing 4.02% of the issued ordinary share capital of the Company. - The J H Whittaker discretionary settlement trust continues to have an interest in 41,677,682 Ordinary shares comprised in this notification of which 39,177,682 are held by Tokenhouse Holdings Limited and 2,500,000 are held by Velida Investments Limited. - The Royal Bank of Scotland also have a notifiable interest in 39,177,682 Ordinary shares in the Company pursuant to the Disclosure of Interests in Shares (Amendment) Regulations 1993.
