[{"type":"text","content":"\n \nRNS Number : 6928M Vislink PLC 29 August 2013 \n \n\n \n \n \n 29 August 2013\n \nVislink plc\n \nVislink Announces Global Strategic Relationship with C-COM Satellite Systems Inc.\n \nVislink plc (the \"Group\"), the global technology business specialising in high performance wireless communications products and services for the broadcast, defence and security markets, has entered into a Global Strategic Relationship with C-COM Satellite Systems Inc. (TSXV:CMI) a Canadian mobile antenna manufacturer based in Ottawa. \n \nVislink will promote, market, sell and support the C-COM manufactured range of iNetVu® products, which complement Vislink's Advent product range and allow expansion into new vertical markets including oil & gas; mining; police, fire & ambulance; and disaster recovery applications.\n \nVislink and C-COM will seek R&D co-operation, taking advantage of the attractive research and development environment in Canada, and will also investigate the sharing of development resources. \n \nVislink will also cross-sell its range of Advent products, including the MSAT, through C-COM's 400 strong worldwide reseller network. \n \nCommenting on the announcement, John Hawkins, Vislink's Executive Chairman, stated \"we have embarked upon an opportunity to work with C-COM to expand our satellite communication product range and to offer our customers a wider choice of satellite solutions utilising the growing need to deploy internet connectivity over these devices.\"\n \nLeslie Klein, President and CEO of C-COM, said \"We are pleased to have established a strategic relationship between our two companies and see a number of opportunities to co-develop and integrate our range of mobile antenna products with Vislink's proprietary technology, producing incremental benefits to our joint customer base.\"\n \nAshley Dove, Vislink's Solutions Engineering Director, stated \"Working together with C-COM will enable Vislink to integrate a greater range of complete solutions into current and new markets utilising C-COM's iNetVu® Satcom Antenna products integrated with Vislink RF and Video Encoder equipment.\" \n \nThe full range of products will be showcased at IBC in September 2013. \n \n \n- ENDS -\n ...
