[{"type":"text","content":"\n RNS Number : 0102H Vislink PLC 11 February 2010 \n \n\n \n \n11 February 2010\n \n \n \nVislink plc\n \nVislink announces key contract wins\n \nVislink plc (\"The Group\"), the global technology business specialising in secure communications for the news & entertainment, law enforcement & public safety, marine & energy and the related services markets, has today announced that its News and Entertainment business unit has recently won a contract with an aggregate value of US$4.0 million (£2.5 million) for the replacement and upgrade of the Alabama Public Television (APTV) microwave network. Vislink will deliver a full turnkey installation utilising Vislink Services, its professional services business unit, for project management and engineering. \n \nIn addition, VISLINK Law Enforcement & Public Safety (LE&PS) received a follow-on order to provide wireless surveillance equipment to the US Department of Defence (DoD) valued at US$0.7 million (£0.4 million) for microwave video surveillance equipment. This order is the third instalment in a series of orders that will help support the DoD wireless surveillance activities.\n \nDuncan Lewis, CEO, commented: \"We are delighted to have the opportunity to work closely with APTV on this important infrastructure project.
