PRESS RELEASE
INTERREGNUM PLC
Portfolio company developments
Interregnum plc, the technology merchant bank, today announces significant
developments for one of its portfolio companies.
Metapraxis, the consultancy and software group, has signed a multi-year
licensing agreement with PricewaterhouseCoopers in the UK and US for its risk
management software to support PwC's new Performance Risk Management ('PRM')
advisory service. The new PRM service will assist corporations to improve the
quality and adequacy of management reporting, especially in the area of
identifying risks that could impact their short and long-term performance. The
service will use powerful visualisation and analytical techniques available via
the risk management software licensed from Metapraxis.
The licensing agreement will generate significant undisclosed revenues for
Metapraxis from PwC during the next twelve months and also has the potential to
expand the Metapraxis client base significantly via subsequent third party
licensing from PwC's advisory clients in the US and UK.
Interregnum's equity stake in Metapraxis represents 15.5% per cent.
