Rothmans Inc. Announces Year End Conference Call and Webcast

TORONTO, May 13 /CNW/ - Rothmans Inc. invites analysts and portfolio
managers to participate in a conference call with management to discuss the
results of the fiscal year ended March 31, 2005. The call will follow after
the release of annual results early on the morning of May 20, 2005.
Shareholders and media are also invited to listen to the call by telephone or
by webcast through the company's investor website, www.rothmansinc.ca.
In May of previous years, Rothmans Inc. has released its fourth quarter
results together with an MD&A that focuses on the fourth quarter. This year,
given the accelerated regulatory filing deadlines, the Company will be
releasing its annual results for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2005 together
with MD&A for the full fiscal year.
"This year, we are pleased to present our annual results package about
six weeks earlier than in previous years", said Paul R. Jewer, Rothmans' CFO.
