[{"type":"text","content":"\n Pan African Resources PLC\n26 January 2006\n\n26 January 2006\n\n\n\n Pan African Resources PLC\n ('Pan African' or 'the Company')\n\n\nUpdate of Exploration Results at the Bogoin Project in Central African Republic\n\n\nPan African Resources PLC (AIM : PAF), the African based gold exploration\ncompany, announces the completion of the second phase of its regional\ngeochemical soil sampling programme at the Bogoin Project ('the Project'), in\nthe Central African Republic ('CAR') and an increase in the total strike-length\nof the original soil geochemical anomaly from 5km to 7km.\n\n\nThe second phase of the sampling programme covered an area of approximately 10km\nin strike-length with an 800m-line spacing. Current work is now focusing on\ninfill sampling as well as extending the existing defined sampling grid.\n\n\nThe Project is covered by an exclusive exploration license and is a joint\nventure between Pan African, International Mining Investments (IMI) and Goldiam\nSARL.\n\n\nJan Nelson, Chief Executive Officer, Pan African stated, 'The increase in the\nstrike-extent is significant as it could indicate the potential of a large gold\ndeposit.
